My first Music Video
In 2006 I had the opportunity to produce my first music video for Blowing Trees’ lead singer and songwriter, Chris Madden. The video for their song “When the news hits the store” was a creation that I stormed up only moments after arriving to their abandoned office rehearsal space. Chris and I had a blast using props found at the space.

Sometimes, one static camera and one skilled videographer are all it takes—especially when you're filming a band as powerful as Lara Price’s. I captured this performance using a single cinema camera and mixed audio from both the camera and the soundboard. The result? Stunning visuals and rich sound that look and feel incredible, especially on a 46” HD screen.

What made the capture of The Watter’s live performance capture was without a doubt their music and their fans. I used three static cameras combined with wide-angle lenses and one telescopic lens from the back. I also managed to throw on a couple of iPhones up last minute with my crew to capture some handheld shots.
